On February 9-11, the scouts went to the Shenandoah mountains. This time they were able to sleep and cook in cabins. The three patrols stayed in three cabins, Conley, Morris, and Mutton Top, and spent most of their time inside due to the rain all day on Saturday.
On Saturday, they met up at the highest cabin, and got a lot of advancement done. All three cabins cooked amazing food in wood stoves, such as the Chicken One Pot Wonder. They really raised the standard for cooking.
The scouts slept on mats, and even sometimes bed frames. A favorite responsibility was chopping, and preparing firewood.
